Since 2013, DPA’s Director, Lucy Donald, has served as a strategic recruitment partner to KAZ Minerals during the company’s most accelerated period of growth. Throughout this time, she has delivered more than 60 expatriate technical specialists across mining engineering, geology, processing, maintenance, and operations. These appointments formed the core of the project delivery, commissioning and subsequent operational teams for both Bozshakol and Aktogay, directly contributing to KAZ Minerals’ copper production increase of more than 50% per year between 2013 and 2018, and supporting its evolution into one of the world’s fastest-growing copper producers.
Lucy also spent time on the ground in Kazakhstan, working closely with the Corporate Team and supporting their rapid organisational scale-up as they transformed into the formidable, high-performing business they are today.
DPA continues to partner with KAZ Minerals, placing Director-level and senior management talent throughout 2025.
