Since 2013, DPA’s Director, Lucy Donald, has been a strategic recruitment partner to KAZ Minerals throughout their most rapid phase of expansion. Over this period, she has placed more than 60 expat technical specialists across mining engineering, geology, processing, maintenance and operations. These hires formed the backbone of the project delivery and commissioning teams for Bozshakol and Aktogay, directly supporting KAZ Minerals’ copper production growth of over 50% per year between 2013 and 2018, and helping the company evolve into one of the world’s fastest-growing copper producers.
Lucy also spent time in Kazakhstan working closely with the Corporate Team, supporting their rapid organisational build-out as they developed into the formidable and high-performing company they are today.
DPA continues to partner with KAZ Minerals, placing talent at Director and senior management level throughout 2025.
