Lucy Donald - Founder & Director
Lucy Donald is a search consultant with over 19 years experience, an Executive Coach and NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) Practitioner. She is the host to the Far From Boring Podcast (soon to launch).
She has supported some of the world’s largest gold mines and top 25 producing global copper mines from development stage to operations to include a 15 year partnership with one of the world’s largest gold mines, successfully building the expat team (over 200 hires) that was part of a 2.5bn USD acquisition in 2024.
Lucy holds a BA (Hons) in English and Linguistics from the University of Leeds and initially started her career within the media industry working for reputable broadcasting companies such as the BBC and ITV.
She started working within the international search and selection sector in 2006 of which she has operated solely within the global mining sector since 2009.
She was one of the co-founders of a multi-award winning Global Workforce Solutions company offering services within the Mining, Oil and Gas, Renewables, Construction and Maritime sectors employing over 100 employees globally with offices across Asia, Middle East, Europe, Africa and North America.
Lucy was the founder of their global Mining Division (2009-2021) whereby she established and managed a successful international mining search and recruitment firm from scratch going on to place over 1000 mining professionals worldwide.
Lucy is a proud member of the Femina Collective and the Oxford Mining Club.
She launched dpa in 2021 to contribute to the ever-evolving future of mining, by discovering and responsibly sourcing the best talent in the field. We will make a difference on the ground.

Nina Lee - HR Learning and Development Partner
Through DPA’s Associate Model, we can offer bespoke and tailored L&D and HR consultancy services through our trusted partner; Nina Lee.
Nina Lee is a HR Learning and Development expert holding two Bachelor Degrees from the University of South Australia; a Degree in Adult, Vocational and Workplace Learning and another in Organisational Behavioural Studies, a Masters in Education specialising in building learning organisations within the mining industry.
She also holds a certificate IV in training and assessment TAE40116, is a Kepner Tregoe certified project manager and is a member of several organisations, including the Australian Mines and Metals Association, Adult Learning Australia and Women in Mining Western Australia.
She has over 15 years of internal consultancy and project management experience as a member of HR learning and development teams within Rio Tinto, BHP, Atlas Iron and Newmont, working internationally and throughout various commodity groups and part of award-winning projects including a Rio Tinto CEO award for the most improved project and managing learning budgets in excess of USD$40m.

Jordan Randall- Search and Recruitment Partner
Jordan holds a BA (Hons) in Economics and has 14 years of search and recruitment experience within in the mining, global commodity, technology, and trading markets globally. He is based in Toronto, Canada.
Lucy and Jordan spent 10 years working together servicing the global mining sector at WRS as top performers. They often conducted client visits across Africa together.
They continue to partner to support their clients whereby extra resources and global reach is required, ensuring that only the best service and expertise is offered to their valued clients. Combined they have almost 35 years of resourcing excellence built on trust, mutual admiration and respect of one another.

Michelle Dooley- Executive and Life Coach Partner and NLP Practitioner
Michelle holds a Bachelor of Education and has 16 years experience comprising of 14 years of early years teaching and more recently working as a motivational speaker and coach since 2023.
Like Lucy she is also an Executive and Life Coach in addition to a Neuro Linguistic Programming Practitioner.
She offers a holistic approach to her clients combining her teaching, mental health training, personal training, coaching and NLP experience and qualifications. She is regularly hired as a motivational speaker and conducts sold out events across the UK, varying from goal setting, navigating change and transformation, the power of visualisation to name a few. She is particularly interested in promoting diversity and equality within the workplace by working with mostly a female based client base.
